Overview

Comprising thirty sessions of 50 minutes across year 10, this course is designed to support school learning for GCSE and iGCSE sciences (including focus on specifications for Pearson Edexcel, CIE, AQA, OCR; double & triple sciences).
At this stage in their studies, students tend to be open to the challenge, but somehow can often become lost in the many varied and complex components of these core subjects. This comprehensive course covers a review of the content learned in school year 10, alongside a focus on exam delivery by studying the assessment objectives and how to meet their needs under exam conditions. We’ll also give some focus to revision and memorisation methodologies, too.

Course Format:

Meeting weekly on Mondays, this course comprises 30 sessions of 50 minutes. Attached is a comprehensive schedule and course map, depicting focus on the five units covered in each of the three sciences, alongside exam technique and revision guidance and support. We will be meeting online via Zoom and in person at Kinloss (Finchley), depending on personal preference of students. (There is no requirement to attend in person and some students choose to attend exclusively online.)

The course cost is £399 per term, for 3 terms. We take a £299 deposit at registration, which is fully refundable if you choose to withdraw before the course begins on 8th September, and will be deducted from the final term’s fees next April.
